About Anfora

Anfora was founded in 1920 by five Germans in Mexico City to make high-quality tableware. In 1995 he moved to the city of Pachuca, where more than 1,000 people operate a renovated factory with more than 75,000 m2 of manufacturing.

Annually, the production exceeds 7.5 million pieces per year. We use the best German machinery and oven technology, in addition to burning items above 1,280 degrees Celsius (100% food-service grade).

We focus on quality (impact resistance), design (adaptability) and service (delivery times and stock). We export more than 60% of the production to chains such as Ace Mart, PF-Chang’s and Buca di Beppo. The group of companies includes our subsidiary IMCOSA, importing products such as stainless steel cutlery from Asia and Europe.

Faced with low-quality imports from China for the home, Anfora has focused on the institutional segment of the market, where durability and delivery time are critical.

Our ovens are adjusted to decorate in high temperature (in-glaze). We can apply logos, edges and varnishes from 600 pieces.

Our product is vitrified porcelain, which means zero absorption of water and bacteria, as well as high impact resistance. Shape families exceed 500 designs, including bestsellers from the market to square shapes, rolled edgecoupe and soft squares. Our artisan enamels are also a great option for the Farm-to-Table trend.

Our industrial design and mold development team generates custom and unique shapes and designs (colors and patterns). The decoration options are endless, with different colors and applications: gold, platinum, matt, solid, personalized. We attend major design fairs such as Ambiente (Frankfurt) and Design Week (Milan) to present incoming trends.
